In the second round of the men's group preliminaries held this evening, China beat Malaysia 2:1. Fourteen minutes into the second half, the host team lost a point but soon equalized the score at 1:1. With only one minute to the end of the match the Chinese players fought well and managed to turn the tide with a 2:0 win.
