In the final round of the women's preliminaries of the 2007 International Hockey Tournament held at the Olympic Green Hockey Field Saturday evening, Australia beat China 3:0. In this last group match, which would make no difference to either team's qualification for the finals, Australian players took the initiative throughout the game and seized their opportunities on many occasions before clinching a 3:0 win over the host team.
