In the final round of the women's heat of the 2007 International Hockey Tournament was held at the Olympic Green Hockey Field on August 11, the Argentine team, composed mostly of young players, beat the African champions the South African team by a big margin of 6:0. After the match head coaches of`both teams gave comments on the game. As South African head coach Jenny King put it, it was an exciting game, and though her team lost the game the players have gained precious experience from it. Minadeo Gabriel, head coach of Argentina, said that by fielding so many young players in the match Argentina meant to temper them through such a major world tournament.
