On the morning of August 6, three technical officials from the International Hockey Federation (FIH) inspected the Olympic Green Hockey Field to be used for the upcoming International Hockey Tournament scheduled to open on August 8.

At the company of Sun Chengmin, Competition Manager for the event, the FIH officials showed satisfaction with the overall situation  of the venue and its supporting facilities. After the inspection they put forward proposals for further improvement of the venue.

According to Sun Chengmin, the newly-built hockey field has fully met the technical requirements of the FIH events. As he said, it was quite normal for FIH officials to make some suggestions for further improvement of this future Olympic venue.
