Liu Qi, Member of the Political Bureau of the 16th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Secretary of the Beijing Municipal CPC Committee, and President of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG) and the Organizing Committee of the "Good Luck Beijing" Sport Events, visited the Olympic Green Hockey Field on Aug. 9 to inspect the operations of the hockey tournament.

Liu Qi arrived at the hockey field at 9:00 in the morning and made a tour of the command center, security and traffic operation zone and media center. He also met the volunteers and listened to brief introductions on the event scoring system and operation system.
